Welcome to Elle Michelle! My name is Deb Harris, and I am a professionally trained classical flutist who also has a love of vintage items. I have always admired the aesthetic of vintage pieces and first started collecting pieces from my grandmothers at an early age. As an adult, I appreciate the recycle/reuse part of owning vintage pieces, and also value the way vintage items were made to last for many generations.

I have spent my professional career as a college music professor and performing artist and I have traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad teaching and performing. Over the past thirty years when traveling, I always managed to find time to seek out vintage shops, thrift stores, and flea markets. I especially love the flea markets in Paris.

When the perfect space for a shop opened up in Fargo, ND, I decided to take the opportunity to open “Elle Michelle.” Come visit me on the Historic 8th Street South in Fargo, where you can also find many other unique shops and businesses on the block.
